Here at Maxi-Seal we work with the following Classifications to determine the type of harness you need:

Class 1: Light-duty trailers up to 10,000-pound load capacity using harnesses with standard four and five-way flat wire harnesses.

Class 2: Same as Class 1, however with the need for breakouts and drop options.

Class 3: Medium duty trailers with capacities of 10,000 to 26,000-pounds that utilize a six and seven-way overmolded cable harnesses.

Class 4: Heavy duty trailers greater then 26,000 pounds with seven-way (or greater) overmolded cable harnesses.

Class 5: Complete, integrated sealed harness or Piranha LED light system, for those who desire premium features and demand extremely high performance.

Class 6: Next generation sealed harness and lighting systems for Heavy Duty Van Trailers with seven-way (or greater). This is currently under development at Maxi-Seal.

Class 7: Custom Truck Body (four, five, six and seven-way) overmolded or hard shell connector harnesses of combination of thereof.
